Who I am today is because of Sailor Moon.:3
20 years is a VERY long time. Virtually as long as I’ve been living. It would be fate that I would find out about this intensely wonderful series only five years later.
Sailor Moon is not just a manga series, or a “kiddie show” or girls in skirts fighting. It’s so much more than that. To some, it influenced the artists inside of us, to others it was a friend when no one else was around.
It’s a creation by Naoko Takeuchi that made all fans realize the importance of strength, friendship, family, and most importantly, love in many forms. Of course we all have our opinions about characters and scenes, and we get into little squabbles and such. But the most important thing is that as a fandom, we have grown with a series that makes us all take pride in the beauty of life.
Happy 20th Anniversary Sailor Moon! 20 YEARS OF LOVE AND JUSTICE.
